Fish Tank Tracker ("the App") is provided as-is. Your tank data never leaves your device, and we do not collect personal information. The App has no account, no analytics and no ads. The only information it sends anywhere is about in-app purchases, as described below.
All data (water parameters, livestock, equipment, maintenance tasks, water changes, photos) is stored locally on your device. We have no access to this data. It stays on your device until you delete it in the App or uninstall the App, which removes it.
If you add a photo of your tank or livestock, the App asks for access to your camera or photo library. Only the photo you choose is used, and it is copied into the App's storage on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
Water test and maintenance reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. No push service or server is involved. You can turn them off in the App's Settings or in your device settings.
CSV export (Pro) and backups create a file on your device and share it only where you choose to send it, such as Files, iCloud Drive, Google Drive or email. A backup contains your tanks, water tests, livestock, equipment, maintenance tasks, water changes, target ranges and unit and reminder settings. Photos are not included. Restoring a backup replaces the data in the App on that device.
Payment for Fish Tank Tracker Pro is processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details. To validate purchases and make "Restore Purchase" work on a new phone, the App uses RevenueCat as a service provider. RevenueCat receives purchase receipts and a random per-install identifier (not your name, email, payment information or tank data) and processes them on our behalf. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
This website (fish.chinesepowered.com) shows ads through Google AdSense. This applies to the website only; the App contains no ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the Internet.
